MRC201 Lorraine Motel

 

A block up the street from Central BBQ was the Lorraine Motel.  It is most famous for being the place where Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, and now houses the National Civil Rights Museum.  After this Ken and Virginia headed off for the two hour drive on I-40 to their overnight stop at a Hampton Inn in North Little Rock, AR.  The next day they drove the remaining 7 hours to home.
